Update: no pain

I was asked for an update on how things are going. Well, week one has been a piece of cake. Really. They were a little tight the first couple of days, but no pain. None. I think the hardest thing to get used to is the food that gets stuck in the back! I know it's gross, but it's out of control! It take a bit longer to eat and that's a good thing. I needed something to slow me down.

As far as looks go, no one at work has noticed...not sure if they just don't say anything, or if they are just that unobservant! Atanas didn't even notice them right off the bat! When my mouth is closed you can't tell at all. I feel like my lips are out to Texas, but really they are not! It's just not bad at all.

More later...off to NYC this weekend!!

Well I got them!!

I got my braces this morning and they feel so bulky but good all the same! I am so happy to be doing this. I can't wait for the end result...This time I am wearing my retainer!! I know they weren't that bad, but I wanted to nip it knowing it would just get worse as I get older. I will post pictures tonight! I got clear on the top and metal on the bottom. It's really not too bad!
